The story
The retailer was already converting interest into questions, not orders. Buyers arrived knowing their room size but not the unit — how much BTU output it needed, whether split, portable or window made sense, and whether the unit could heat as well as cool. Left alone in a 23-brand catalogue, most of that intent stalled before checkout.
The storefront pairs a full commerce engine (catalogue, cart, checkout, stock, UK and EU shipping) with two decision tools that answer the sizing question up front: a BTU calculator that maps room size to required output, and an AC Advisor that takes room size, usage and budget and recommends a specific unit in chat. Brand, capacity and heat-pump filters sit on top, so a buyer can narrow hundreds of SKUs to a shortlist without speaking to anyone.
