A Base44 architect.
One accountable operator.
There's a level above Specialist. An architect doesn't just build — they decide. Which data model, which integration, which automation, which screen. The AI superagent scaffolds and codes at machine speed; I direct every architectural choice and review every line before it ships. You get the judgment of the tier above a specialist, delivered at AI speed — backed by live production sites across B2B and ecommerce, not demos.
- Architect level — the Base44 certification tier above Specialist
- End-to-end architecture: data models, auth, integrations, automations, AI agents
- Live production sites across B2B and ecommerce — proof, not demos
- Ships to web, iOS and Android from one codebase, remote or on-site
What an architect does here
Before a single screen is built, the architecture is decided: the entity model, the auth and role strategy, the integrations, the automations, where an AI agent earns its place and where it doesn't. The AI superagent then scaffolds and codes against that plan. My job is to make the calls the model can't — and to review everything it produces before it reaches you.
The stack I architect on
Base44's backend-as-a-service: entities, backend functions, integrations, workflows and the AI agent layer — plus a React frontend that compiles to native iOS and Android. I architect across all of it, so your app isn't a collection of parts but a coherent system that scales from MVP to real users without a rebuild.
Why hire an architect, not a builder
A builder executes a spec. A specialist knows the platform and builds on it well. An architect owns the decisions that decide whether the spec was right — the data model that won't need a migration in three months, the automation that removes a whole screen, the AI agent scoped tightly enough to be trustworthy. Specialist is the tier below architect; you hire an architect when the build matters and the decisions are load-bearing.
How to engage me
Freelance project, embedded into your team, a full-time role, or on-site in the UK or abroad. Send a brief and you'll get a fixed price and an architecture plan back within 24 hours. Remote worldwide, or in the room for the decisions that need it.
Questions, answered.
What does a Base44 architect do?
Owns the architectural decisions — data models, auth strategy, integrations, automations and AI agent scope — then directs the AI superagent to scaffold and code against that plan, reviewing every line before it ships. You hire the judgment, delivered at AI speed.
How much does a Base44 architect cost?
Sites from £299, full apps from £699, AI agents from £499 — fixed for agreed scope. 50% deposit secures the slot, balance on delivery, scope changes quoted up front.
Can I hire a Base44 architect remotely?
Yes — I work fully remote with clients worldwide, and I'm available for on-site engagements in the UK or abroad, full-time roles, freelance projects and embedded contracts.
Does the architect handle mobile too?
Yes. Base44 compiles the same React codebase to native iOS and Android, so the architecture covers web and mobile from day one — no separate mobile rebuild.
Architect vs Specialist — what's the difference?
Specialist is the Base44 certification tier below Architect. A specialist knows the platform and builds on it well; an architect owns the load-bearing decisions — the data model, auth strategy, integration map, automation scope and AI agent boundaries — then directs the AI superagent against that plan and reviews every line. You hire an architect when the decisions are load-bearing, not just the execution.
